Tenuta Maiano white wines derive from the vines of Trebbiano Toscano, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, and are made with grapes selected and harvested by hand for an authentic flavor.



Albo
Name: Bianco Toscano I.G.T. “ALBO”
Vine variety: Trebbiano Toscano 85%, Chardonnay 15%
Location: Toscana–Montespertoli (FI)
Soil: pleistocenic sands and clay with sea fossils
Elevation: 230 m on Sea level
Wine-making process: hand picked, quick pressing, and low fermentation without skins (12-15 days) at stable temperature (15-18° C)
Alcohol Content: 12% vol.
Aging: 20-30 days in bottle
Color: light yellow
Nose: primary smells such as white flowers (Acacia)
Taste: fresh and fizzy with hint of almond, typical of the Trebbiano Grape
Suggestions: fish, white meat, appetiser
To be served: 8-10° C

Albo Frizzante

Vine variety: Trebbiano Toscano 85%, Chardonnay 15%

Citrullo
Name: Bianco Toscano I.G.T. “CITRULLO”
Vine variety: Chardonnay 70%, Sauvignon 30%
Location: Toscana–Montespertoli (FI)
Soil: sandy and stony ground
Elevation: 180 m on Sea level
Wine-making process: hand picked selected grapes; quick separation of the grape juice from skin and stems, slow fermentation (12 15 days) with temperature control at around 15-18 degrees
Alcohol Content: 13% vol.
Aging: 20-30 days in bottles
Color: bright pale yellow
Nose: fresh, intense with hints of exotic fruits such as banana and pineapple
Taste: warm andenveloping with similar taste as the nose
Suggestions: to par with fish dishes, veal, fresh and mild cheese
To be served: 8-10° C

Poggio al Sondolo

Color: warm light yellow
Nose: fresh, intense with hints of white flowers and exotic fruits
Taste: warm, smooth, full taste with structure
